Comparison Cost and Returns Dynamic vs Historic Baseline

Project Condition: 2940 kg canola/ha on a 64.8 ha field near Lacombe, Alberta that received 110 kg N/ha fertilizer at basic level of implementation. Assumes 5% yield increase and 15% N use reduction through adoption of 4R source, time and place BMPs and field specific optimization of N rate. Farmer receives $20/tCO2e.
