Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers presents the 2015 4R Agri-Retailer Award to Richardson International

Each year, Fertilizer Canada and the Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers (CAAR) recognize a team that has shown leadership in the adoption of 4R Nutrient Stewardship into their business practices by becoming a 4R Designated retailer.

In 2015, Richardson International was selected for the award, for showing this extraordinary leadership in the adoption of 4R Nutrient Stewardship (Right Source @ Right Rate, Right Time, Right Place™ ).

Richardson has demonstrated commitment to developing 4R Nutrient Stewardship expertise through their extensive staff training, hosting a 4R Field day at their Kelburn farm location, and have incorporated the key scientific principles of 4R Nutrient Stewardship into nutrient management planning with customers.  In addition, Richardson is engaged in the economic, social, and environmental issues that are relevant to making agriculture more sustainable in their area.

Fertilizer Canada would like to congratulate Richardson and Heather Durie (with Richardson Pioneer), who accepted the award on the company’s behalf, for their commitment to 4R Nutrient Stewardship.

The CAAR Conference is a unique event, dedicated exclusively to Canadian agri-retail, providing opportunities for networking, sharing new technologies and honing best practices – helping each other to improve their businesses and support the industry that feeds the world.
